The area around Place des Quinconces is quiet, dominated by opulent buildings with 18th- and 19th-century façades. The neighbourhood is served by tram lines B, C and D, which intersect at the ‘Quinconces’ stop. These lines provide easy access to the north and south of Bordeaux. River shuttles also have a boarding pontoon opposite the square.
