Les Chartrons is the district of bon vivants and antique dealers. Historically, the Chartrons was the district of the wine merchants. Traditionally, life in the district revolves around the Place des Chartrons (15 minutes from the flat), with its 360° bars and restaurants and a small covered market. There's also the Rue Notre Dame (10 minutes from the flat), home to second-hand goods dealers and independent designer boutiques. Not forgetting the legendary Chartrons market on the quayside every Sunday until 2pm. It's the ideal place for an outdoor lunch.
